SCREENINGS AT BUDDIES IN BAD TIMES THEATRE

All screenings held at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre are Pay What You Can (PWYC) events. Click here for a listing. Tickets for these programs cannot be purchased in advance and will only be available on the day of the screening at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, beginning 45 minutes prior to the start of the first screening of the day.

PRE-FESTIVAL TICKET SALES:

The general public may purchase memberships on Member-Only days and can then purchase Festival tickets. Members receive discounts on tickets, priority seating and more!

HOURS FOR PRE-FESTIVAL, IN-PERSON AND PHONE SALES

Monday to Friday: 12pm - 7pm
Saturday and Sunday: 12pm - 6pm

SAME DAY TICKETS DURING THE FESTIVAL

Same-day tickets from May 20 to 30 are available online, over the phone or at 2 Carlton Street. Same hours of operation as pre-Festival sales. Please note: 2 Carlton Street box office will be closed for in-person sales on May 29 and 30.

On the day of a program's screening, remaining tickets will be available at the respective theatre starting one hour before the first screening of the day and closing 30 minutes after the start of the final screening of the day.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Visa, Mastercard and Amex are accepted online and for telephone sales. Cash, Visa, Mastercard and Amex are accepted at 2 Carlton Street, the Isabel Bader and ROM. Buddies in Bad Times Theatre accepts cash only.

HOW DO I PICK UP TICKETS?

Pre-Festival: Advance tickets, online and telephone order ticket pick-ups and member tickets and services are available at 2 Carlton Street, West Mezzanine.

During the Festival: Advance online and telephone ticket purchases can be picked upt 2 Carlton Street, the Isabel Bader Theatre and the ROM theatre.

HOW DO I FIND OUT IF A FILM IS SOLD OUT?

SOLD OUT? TRY THE RUSH LINE!

Since not all ticket-holders show up for every screening, there are usually a number of rush tickets available at the theatre. The remaining seats are sold to those waiting in the Rush Line, just before the screening. This line forms anywhere from 15 minutes to two hours before show time at the theatre box office.

WHAT ELSE SHOULD I KNOW?

All ticket prices include GST and a 25 cent fee charged by Festival Ticketing.

Service charges apply to all online and telephone ticket orders. A charge of $4.50 is applied to each online ORDER and $3.50 per telephone ORDER. Please note this is a charge per order and NOT per ticket.

All screenings are restricted to persons 18 years of age or older except where noted on individual program description pages of the program guide. The box office and all screening venues are wheelchair accessible.

People Living With HIV/AIDS (PHAs): A limited number of tickets are available to PHAs through the AIDS Committee of Toronto. Call 416.340.8484, ext 244.
